01 · Managed IT

Someone has to own the boring work.

Patching, backups, onboarding, password resets, the printer. Five ways to hand that over, depending on what you already have.

From $75 per device per month, plus a per user charge. $95 at Professional adds eligibility for The Big Sky Guarantee and Service Warranty once your environment is certified. Eligibility requirements, service limits and exclusions apply. No hourly remote billing, and no annual escalator.
02 · Security and forensics

Four questions, four answers.

This is the side of the business the company started on. Each service answers one question you may already be asking.

Incident response is $165 an hour, any hour, with no emergency rate. Certified clients get the response work under The Big Sky Guarantee, within defined service limits, and retainer clients draw on their agreed hours.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Contract terms and cost comparisons live on the pricing page. These are about what you can buy and how we support clients.

Do you work outside Great Falls, or only in one city?

Remote support and monitoring reach anywhere. Contract clients get same day onsite anywhere in Montana. Other work is scheduled same day where availability allows.

What information do you need from us to quote accurately?

Device count, user count, number of sites, whether you have servers, and any compliance obligations. That's the whole list.

Can we buy a single service without signing a managed agreement?

Security operations, penetration testing, audits, incident response, forensics, compliance, and project work are all available standalone. Helpdesk is the exception, because we don't sell ticket handling on an environment nobody manages.

Can we combine services?

Yes. Most clients pair managed IT with one security service, such as penetration testing or compliance. Pairing penetration testing with other assessments is discounted, and we'll show that in your written quote.

Are there discounts for longer agreements or bundled services?

Yes. Longer agreements, existing clients and bundles that pair penetration testing with other assessments are priced lower. We'll show the difference in your written quote.

What's the difference between a penetration test and a cybersecurity audit?

A penetration test asks whether someone can break in right now. An audit asks whether the organization is run in a way that keeps someone out next year. The test produces an attack path; the audit produces findings mapped to HIPAA, CIS or NIST with a remediation roadmap and costs attached. Most organizations facing a deadline need the audit first.

What if we pick the wrong service?

Tell us what's bothering you and we'll point you to the right one on the first call. If none of ours fits, we'll say so and point you to someone who can help.

Are there organizations you turn down?

Yes, and they're listed above: device access without legal authority, organizations over about 1,000 devices with no internal IT, offices under about ten devices with no compliance needs, regular onsite outside Montana, compliance we'd have to sign for, and standalone helpdesk. If you're in one of those groups we'll say so on the first call rather than after a proposal.

Will you take incident response work if we're supported by another IT company?

Yes. We take engagements from organizations we've never worked with, including ones with an existing IT provider. One thing worth knowing before you call: rebuilding affected systems feels responsible but destroys the evidence your insurer and your attorney will need. Stop, then call.
